Been sittin' dry

So it has been awhile since I have searched for any new music to add to my collection and I thought it was about that time when I went on a great hunt to find more. I'm starting off first with an electronic duo based in Portland, Oregon called Talkdemonic. They have a nice variety of songs throughout their three albums from what I can tell but it is a shame they have been on hiatus for so long.

I went with The Mercury Program next. I investigated them a little a few months back and was just too lazy to download them. They have been around for awhile, 1997 to exact and started off with only two members but added two later on. They are a post rock band with a good collection of albums and EPs and I hope to get some serious listening done with them.

I ended with Saxon Shore who I also checked out awhile back and I remember liking their sound so I decided now was a good time to get started. Their sound can be compared to Explosions in the Sky and God is an Astronaut but I've never had a problem with more of that kind of sound. If I put them in a playlist with Explosions in the Sky and God is an Astronaut I might not be able to tell the difference but no matter!

Thanks for reading and I will see you later.

also if you have time check out the podcast I Guess I'm Podcasting. He is a great man with f a complication of great music. You can check him out on iTunes or here: iguessimfloating.blogspot.

Broken God Explosions

I made this blog to keep track of all post rock bands and electronic artists I am currently interested in. I chose this name because of Broken Social Scene which is sort of a combination of post rock, electronic, and Alternative. I put god in there because of my favorite European post rock band God is an Astronaut. Aaaand I shoved Explosions in there from Explosions in the Sky even though I haven't listened to them a lot and they can be considered entry level. I sort of like the name but I wonder if I should of used something else.

Oh well.

Maaaaaaaaaaaan

This is gonna be crazy
